Morning Dump

Well, with no games to recap, today's morning dump is unsatisfying and analogous to this.

Onward...

- Seth at the P-G makes my job easy, here's a link list of Pens-Caps articles.

- Ovechkin gets a day off from practice to shoot his scenes in the next Bond movie.

- In case you didn't know, guys named Crosby and Ovechkin are playing a series against each other. Let's also not forget about this year's soon to be named MVP Evgeni Malkin.

- Ron Cook says that Fleury will lead us to the Conference Finals.

- Pens notes from Prisuta here, including Gonchar saying he's happy for Russia.

- Pens can't let Ovechkin run at them without retaliation.

- As I said earlier this week, and since everything I say is incontestable, Caps' rookie goalie Varlamov may be the key to the series.

- Pirates say that they're capable of handling adversity. I say that I can dunk a basketball, but that doesn't mean that I can. Let's hope they back up the words.

- Pirates opened a new training academy in the DR. Hopefully they'll get the kids on steroids early and often before they come to the States.

- Kudos to the Pirates, Joe Kerrigan, and their pitching staff. They currently sport the majors' lowest ERA and it all starts with "Strike One". Thank goodness we have a caoch now who's telling these guys to work fast, throw strikes, keep the ball low, and change speeds. Well, he should be telling them that if he isn't.

- Paterno pleased with PSU's spring.
