Night Crawlers: 5/10 Edition
I wouldn't want my face photographed either sporting a 6.14 ERA, 6 appearances in a row giving up a run (11 runs, 10 earned) and reading the Post-Gazette all winter as if you were going to be traded out of baseball hell.
As the city prepares for another epic battle at Mellon Arena between the Penguins and Capitals, locals are left wondering if both cities are cursed as the Nationals are making a run at the 1962 Mets record of 120 losses and Pirates have all but guaranteed themselves the American pro sports record of 17 losing seasons in a row.
Pedro Alvarez update: 0 for 4... all strikeouts... boxscore
Brad Lincoln update: 6.2 IP, 5 K, 1 ER, and yes, the loss... boxscore

Good numbers for Lincoln that game, and this year so far.
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised that Alvarez is doing so poorly.
